How to get to Castle Howard
TV superstar – Bridgerton and Brideshead Revisted
Castle Howard was used to portray the Duke of Hastings’ country estate, Clyvedon Castle, in the first season of Bridgerton, which aired in 2020. Key areas of the house, such as the Great Hall and walled garden, were featured in various scenes.
The house was also used as the fictional Brideshead in the original 1980s TV series, as well as the 2008 film Brideshead Revisited.
Skelf Island
Skelf Island is a fantastic adventure playround for kids of all ages.
Reached by crossing an Indiana Jones style rope bridge, it is packed full of swings, slides and places to explore.
